Fundraise with friends, colleagues or your local community and have fun! You can choose what you would like to do and we will support you with sponsor forms, posters, webpages and advice.

Could you and your friends plan a one-off event or perhaps set yourselves a target to raise an amount from £500 to £5,000 over the year with a series of activities and events?

And because 2012 is the year we celebrate 140 years of RNC we are challenging our supporters to raise at least £140 from their chosen activity - you can register your '140 Challenge' idea with us by clicking here and we will send you all the information that you need.

Send us photos of you and your friends doing your fundraiser and we will feature you on our website and in our newsletter. Make a difference to someone with sight loss - do something today.

Get on your bike

Have a sale

Plan a cycle ride, a run, walk, hike up a mountain, organise a football or netball tournament, golf or rowing...whichever sport or activity you like to do you could engage others to do it for RNC.

Drop us a line at info@rncfundraising.org.uk or call 01432 376371 to let us know what you would like to do and we will send you a pack and get you started. You can set up a fundraising webpage for your event by following this link, click on 'Create my challenge' and select RNC as your chosen charity. Then promote your page to everyone you know to get started!

Whether it is a car boot sale, jumble sale or selling on ebay you can donate all or a poportion of what you make to RNC.

You can find The Royal National College for the Blind as a listed charity to be supported on eBay for Charity and you can choose to donate between 10% and 100% of the proceeds you make.

So have a look in the attic, clear out the spare room or delve into the garage and do your bit for RNC by selling items you didn't even want!

For the performers...	Get Sponsored

Host a karaoke evening, an X Factor night, a dance-a-thon, everyone pays to enter and the winner can be chosen by your own panel of judges or voted for by the audience.	Get sponsored to give something up for a day or a week or even for a year! What is your biggest vice? Chocolate, talking too much, swearing, smoking, taking the lift, coffee!

Time for tea

Dress up!

Hold a cake sale, tea party or dinner party or perhaps hold a murder mystery evening. Ask friends for a donation to come along to your delicious dinner party, you could even fundraise further with games or a quiz.

Perhaps ask for donations to RNC instead of gifts at your birthday party or retirement party.

Dress up, dress down or throw a fancy dress party - at home, school, college or at work there is always fun to be had when setting a theme or having a competition for the best dressed (or worst)!
