Give in celebration to RNC

Asking for donations instead of gifts can be a perfect way to mark any occasion whether it is a wedding, birthday, anniversary or retirement. Your friends and family can contribute towards the education and future independence of someone who is blind or partially sighted.

We can help you to find the easiest way for your guests to donate and support you with information about RNC so you can concentrate on organising your occasion. Let us know what you are planning and when and we will do the rest. Or you can do it yourself by following the easy steps below;

• Set up a celebration webpage with MyDonate by clicking here, click on 'Celebrate someone special' and select RNC as your chosen charity. It takes only a few minutes and you can personalise it with photos and a message to you guests, family and friends. MyDonate is a very secure and easy way to donate online. Just send your new web address to all of your friends and family and they can donate and leave you messages.

• Alternatively if your guests would prefer to donate by cash or cheque, simply ask them to place their donations in envelopes so you can easily collect them up. Cheques should be made payable to RNC and can be sent directly to us at the address below. Please remember to put a note in with the cheques to let us know who you are and what your celebration was and please do give us a call on 01432 376371 if you have any questions.

We can provide collection envelopes which allow supporters to fill in their details and, if they wish, allow us to claim Gift Aid on their donation. We can also send you leaflets with information about RNC and how the donations from your celebration will help. You can give the information and envelopes to your guests or leave on tables.

Please remember to not send cash through the post.
