Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax free basis to the charities and good causes of their choice.
Regularly donating a fixed sum of money from your salary is a simple way to give. It's also the most tax effective, because donations are deducted before you pay tax, so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p.
For example: if you donate £10, only £8 comes out of your salary and the taxman pays the rest. Or if you're on a higher tax rate (40%), only £6 comes out of your salary and the taxman pays the rest.
Payroll Giving (workplace giving) is a valuable income for RNC and you will be helping us to provide vital resources for our students today and for many years to come. To find out how you can become a regular giver through Payroll Giving please contact your employer to ask if they have a scheme already in place or contact us at info@rncb.ac.uk or call 01432 376371.
It really is simple - one form is all you need to complete to make that real difference to someones life.
Thank you
