The Royal National College for the Blind (RNC) has a wide variety of options with regard to conference, meetings, seminars. With all of our venues a full range of catering facilities is available, supplied by our licensed Bistro. Catering options, including sample menus and prices, are available on request.

Conferencing and Exhibition Space 

EXHIBITION HALL 
 

The main exhibition hall is situated on the lower ground floor of thePoint4, the hall is ideal for larger exhibitions and conferences and offers;

  • Retractable spectator seating for 280
  • Viewing gallery 
  • Private entrance and lobby
  • Provides special non-glare lighting and is acoustically balanced cutting down on adverse noise 
  • Seamless flooring 
  • Available with on site security
COLLEGE HALL
 

Situated within the main college building, the main hall includes;

  • A large fixed stage and specialist lighting rigs
  • Seating for up to 250 people (theatre style) and 200 people (cabaret style)
  • College Hall has played host to BBC outside broadcasts, dinner dances and concerts as well as conferences and workshops 
  • Multimedia facilities available

Meeting Rooms

NORWOOD MEETING ROOM
  Situated in Gardner Hall
  • Offers seating for up to 80 delegates (theatre style) or can be adapted (eg for boardroom requirements)
  • Opens out into the Orangery
  • Break out rooms for larger conferences
  • Private entrance and lobby available  
  • Multimedia facilities available 
  • Private entrance and lobby
  • Hearing loop system
MAIN MEETING ROOM
 

Our main suite of meeting rooms are situated on the ground floor of thePoint4 with easy access to car parking. The largest meeting room.

  • Accommodates up to 120 people
  • Situated close to our Bistro and roof top terrace
  • Benefits from two adjoining meeting rooms which can be hired independently 
  • Break out rooms for larger conferences
  • Private entrance and lobby available  
  • Multimedia facilities available                                
MEETING ROOMS
 

Situated on the ground floor of thePoint4 with easy access to car parking, we offer;                                                

  • Two small meeting rooms
  • Accommodates up to 30 people per room
  • Situated next to our Bistro and main meeting room
  • Adjoining roof terrace
  • Multimedia facilities available             
THE STAR ROOM
 

Situated  within  the  main college building, the Star room is a traditional and beautifully appointed room and  offers;

  • Seat up to 70 (theatre style) or be adapted (eg for boardroom requirements)
  • Private kitchen area 
  • Small breakout room 
  • Multimedia facilities available
