Open Days for Professionals working with people with sight loss

For the many professional organisations working with visually impaired clients, we offer their staff the opportunity to visit RNC on one of our nine Open Days across the year.

Open days are an ideal way for you to get a flavour of life at RNC. We recommend you visit RNC during a designated Open Day, but if any of the following dates aren't suitable, please call RNC Marketing on 01432 376622 and we will be happy to arrange something more convenient.

Summer Term - April 2010

• Wednesday 21 April - Connexions/Careers Personal Advisers/School Careers Staff and Staff involved with transition planning
• Thursday 22 April - Staff working in Local Authorities, Local Authority Services for VI Children, Social Services, Education, Inclusion etc.
• Wednesday 28 April - Disability Employment Advisers and Job Brokers
• Thursday 29 April - Ophthalmology Staff/Associations for the Blind, Voluntary Sector and Support Groups

 Autumn Term - October 2010 

• Wednesday 6 October - Connexions/Careers Personal Advisers/School Careers Staff and Staff involved with transition planning
• Thursday 7 October - Staff working in Local Authorities, Local Authority Services for VI Children, Social Services, Education, Inclusion etc.
• Wednesday 13 October - Disability Employment Advisers and Job Brokers
• Thursday 14 October - Ophthalmology Staff/Association for the Blind, Voluntary Sector and Support Groups

These are not 'drop in sessions'. To reserve your place on any of the Open Days shown please call RNC Marketing on 01432 376622 or email info@rncb.ac.uk. However, every day is an 'open day' at RNC, and if the above dates aren't convenient or if you can't wait for an organised day we will be happy to arrange a separate visit. Visits to RNC for potential students

We don't believe in big impersonal open days for potential students, we prefer to offer indivudally tailored visits for you and your family so you can really get an idea of how you would benefit from studying at RNC. • KAB Eye Can Do It Exhibition - 13 May 2010 at the Angel Centre, Angel Lane, Tonbridge TN9 1SF
• Sight Village Birmingham - 13-15 July 2010  at the New Bingley Hall, Hockley Circus, Birmingham
