Personalisation - Your entitlement as a student

Regardless of the course you decide to study RNC will offer you the individual and personal support you need to ensure you reach your targets and goals. Read on to find out how.

When you come for your assessment we will identify the support you need and this will be in place when you start your programme.

 

You will have a team of professionals allocated to you who will offer advice and guidance on any issues relating to your progress.

Whilst studying and living at RNC, your Team will tailor your programme and support specifically to your personal needs. You will be continually involved in this process throughout your time here.

We will work with you to develop and agree your own Individual Learning Plan (ILP). This outlines your own personal pathway and programme, and could include:

• Independent living skills and mobility
• Personal and social development
• Key life skills and learning support
• Student support, services and facilities
• Literacy, numeracy and other support
• Braille and Braille technology
• ICT support
• Residential provision and support
