RNC Blind Football Academy

Your chance to play alongside some of the UK’s finest!
RNC’s Football Academy offers learners the opportunity to build football training into their programme of studies and experience blind and partially sighted football at the very highest level. This could be just the platform you need to develop your footballing skills, get noticed by talent scouts and selected to represent your country in the national and international arena!
The College provides an opportunity for players to develop all areas of their game through expert coaching from trained, experienced staff, with the view to producing players with the ability to compete at both national and international levels.
RNC participates in the National Visually Impaired Football League, with regular matches all over the country and also hosts the National Blind Football League, with monthly fixtures.

Student Profile: Craig Lundberg
“I chose RNC because it was the only college that offered me the opportunities I needed. The Football Academy has given me the quality time I need to train and set my pathway into the England Blind Football Squad and the GB Team.”
RNC - Home to British Blind Football

The College has been a key player in opening up the national game to people with sight loss and in helping put blind and partially sighted football on the British sporting map. We are also the proud home to the National squad, who are trained here with the support of The FA, the British Paralympic Association and under the direction of Tony Larkin, an ex-professional footballer, England Football Team Manager and a Senior Manager at RNC. The college will also play host to the IBSA World Blind Football Championships in August 2010.
