With more and more people with a visual impairment going into mainstream education and progressing onto further and higher education, the chances are that you currently have or may have in the future, a blind or partially sighted student at your school, college or university. But the question is, would you know what to do?

The number of recent enquiries from lecturers and support staff seeking advice on teaching students with sight loss suggests a need for training.
