The T3 is a touch sensitive, multi-sensory device which provides instant audio feedback from tactile images. This combination of sound and touch transforms the way in which people with or without disabilities can access graphical information.

Due to the consistency of the information supporting the T3 overlays materials it is extremely helpful for those who have Autism or Asperger’s. It is also an extremely useful tool for those with dyslexia and removes the embarrassment for people who are unable to read print.

The T3 can be used in many ways for example mainstream and specialist education, public service areas, museums, galleries, heritage venues and anywhere there is a point of interest.

The Tactile Acoustic Guitar  for VI Musicians

The Tactile Acoustic Guitar or TAG is a standard acoustic guitar which has been modified to help visually impaired musicians locate the fret positions both quickly and easily while they are learning to play the guitar.  This is accomplished by the addition of a series of tactile guides on the nect of the guitar to indicate the positions of the third, fifth, seventh, ninth and twelfth frets.  Each position is marked by three markers on the top, middle and bottom of the neck which means you can always tell where you are on the fret board whether you are playing open chords, barre chords or lead melodies.

There will soon be a tuition CD available which will teach you how to tune the guitar and play a variety of chords, scales and songs using the tactile markers on the back of the neck as a guide.  This will use the open G, or Spanish Tuning system to allow beginners to make very quick progress and master lots of simple tunes within a few days or weeks!
